Support can start immediately if you're in the thick of things and need help ASAP, or can start around your due date. The support I provide can include:
A prenatal visit: this is to get acquainted with the environment, your family members, routines, etc, before baby comes. During this visit, I can offer environmental suggestions to make things a little more convenient for the parents once baby arrives.
Feeding support: I am trained in breastfeeding support and am happy to offer suggestions to build confidence with breastfeeding. I am also able to support parents with bottle feeding or can refer parents to lactation consultants if the journey starts off a bit rocky.
Sleep support: I can take care of the baby (and any other kids/fur babies) while the parents catch up on some much needed sleep! This can be done during the day, evening, or overnights.
Household needs: any light chores that need to be done around the house can be left to me so that parents can focus on themselves and baby.
Cooking and meal prep: I LOVE to cook and would be happy to cook your favourite meals or complete meal prep to make cooking easier for you!
Antepartum support: I can help expectant parents who are on bed rest with tasks that need help with around the home.
Family member adjustment: for siblings or other family members that need support adjusting to their new roles.
Educating and modelling: using an evidence-based approach, I can help to educate and model techniques for parents and family members.
... and so much more!
While in-person support has many proven benefits, virtual support is an accessible way for me to offer support to parents who may be out of my service range, only need support for a short amount of time, or simply prefer a virtual setting.
Virtual support is offered at a reduced rate.

I am also willing to offer a blended support model of both in-person and virtual support. The details can be discussed in our free consultation.
